Why do my brakes feel different?

Here are some basic’s. The calipers slides and hardware are cleaned and lubed causing more travel and proper clearances. Rotors are refaced and need break–in miles. Pads are installed and they are new soft and squishy. They will harden within a few miles driving. Also very important is a brake fluid flush. As read from a typical invoice. BREAK-IN PERIOD FOR NEW BRAKE PADS OR SHOES IS IMPORTANT FOR LONG LIFE AND SMOOTH QUIET OPERATION. THE FIRST 50 MILES BRAKE PADS AND SHOES ARE OPERATING HOTTER THAN NORMAL MATING TO THE ROTOR OR DRUM SURFACE. DURING THIS TIME IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO OVER STRESS AND OVER HEAT THE SYSTEM.
